All products manufactured and distributed by CITSS are guaranteed to be free of defects in material and workmanship for the life of the product. The life of the product is deemed to be until all toner, ink or carbon is depleted from the aforementioned product and is warranted to meet or exceed performance standards of the equivalent OEM’s product specifications in yield and print density.

Should any product supplied by CITSS prove to be defective we will replace the faulty item with an unused equivalent product in a timely manner as set out in the terms and conditions of supply agreed upon with your organisation.

We also warrant that our cartridges under normal use will not cause damage, abnormal wear and deterioration or void warranty claims on any compatible printers, copiers, fax or multifunction machines or devices.

In the event a CITSS cartridge has been alleged to cause a machine failure we will reimburse the customer for the full amount of the repair costs to the printer device upon satisfactory proof of the cause. The warranty is dependant upon, and subject to, the following terms and conditions;

·  The customer must provide CITSS with substantiated evidence that the product failure was directly attributed to a defect in the CITSS supplied product.

·  Evidence of the fault and issue must be documented immediately on discovery of problem.

·  Choice I.T Supplies must be contacted as soon as the issue is reported and before the cartridge is removed.

·  The customer must provide a written statement on an authorised service organisations letterhead explaining how the consumable damaged the printer device and the nature of the defect.

·  This document must be signed and dated by an authorised service representative of the aforementioned organisation.

·  The warranty requires that, the defective consumable along with any replaced parts from the printer are returned to us for inspection by our Quality Control Division to inspect.

·  The warranty may be void if evidence of tampering or modification is found to have taken place by an unauthorised person or persons.

·  CITSS reserve the right to have the printer device inspected, prior to repairs being undertaken, by an independent Service Technician.

·  Warranty claims will not be processed if the cartridge has been discarded cannot be provided.

·  Costs associated with normal machine maintenance and/or cleaning are specifically excluded from this product guarantee.

Our liability shall be limited to the replacement of the consumable and reimbursement for the printer repairs as stated in the above terms and conditions. This warranty is exclusive and in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

The costs will be reimbursed within 14 working days of receipt of the aforementioned information, together with original invoices, for the associated costs incurred by the customer.
